Michael Gilchrist was a Co Player of the Game for the McDonald's All American game. The 6'7 swingman can play multiple positions on the court and could be the most balanced player in the class. On offense Gilchrist is a slasher with a great mid range game. What he truly prides himself on is defense and rebounding. Rivals put Gilchrist at number 3 and ESPN has Gilchrist at 3 also. His incredible athleticism will be a great fit for Calipari's dribble drive. I expect Gilchrist as the Superman version of Chris Douglas Roberts. He has been compared to Andre Iguadala of the 76ers.
