The Commish is going to be heading off to Myrtle Beach for a couple days but don't get too upset. I'm bringing the Mac and should be able to get a post day in for the people. It's gonna be a super duper 15 hour car ride from about 9:30 tonight to noon tomorrow. On another note, It's quite evident that college basketball takes the back burner to college football. Baylor's star lottery pick player, Perry Jones has been declared ineligible because his mother received a $1000 loan from his high school AAU coach without him knowing. Not only that but Jones' mother paid the coach back in full. Jones is considered a top 5 pick for this year's NBA draft. The funny part is when Heisman winner Cam Newton's father was trying to sell him to schools, Newton was still eligible because he "didn't know" his father was doing this.
Yahoo does a great job covering this also saying that Jones' should be allowed to play in the NIT or NCAA tournament if Baylor makes it.
