Duke Stutters to Victory

The game was close, but the outcome was expected. Some people may think this shows that Duke isn't strong enough to make a deep run this year but that couldn't be any farther from the truth. Duke has arguably the best small men in college hoops in Smith, Irving, Curry, Dawkins, and Singler (used anywhere from a 3 to a 5). Their big men are one of the most underrated crews in the nation. Mason Plumlee is a premier player with solid contributions from Ryan Kelly and Mason's brother Miles. Kyrie Irving is still feeling his way back into the grove and will contribute immensely the rest of the way. Either way, Nolan Smith is the man that is going to orchestrate this offense and take over games.

UPDATE: Ann Arbor Hospital has confirmed that Tim Hardaway has admitted himself for a case of broken ankles.
