See this is the problem with college athletics. Many programs receive a monstrous proportion of their funds from boosters/alums. Because of this some coaches will have selection parties to see where their team gets seeded and help show their alums and/or boosters what a great program and staff their university has. The trick here is when you have a selection party, your team should be a shoe in not a bubble team because this is not how you get the university big donors.
